Alternatives is working in partnership with the Dumbarton Cine Club based in the Concord Centre, Dumbarton.

With funding from West Dunbartonshire Council Common Good Fund,  a new community cinema project has now been established in Dumbarton. People are now able to access a Cinema locally that is priced so everyone can afford to go.

We support this project by clients and staff volunteering in the café at screening events.

We hope to progress to a learning kitchen were all involved have the training and experience to help them move on in their recovery with increased confidence and self esteem, re-engaging with their local community, promoting recovery is possible, and gaining experience and qualifications that will support them in their future goals

Dates have been released for future screanings in April and May. Tickets for all screening are available from the concorde Centre or Alternatives(Dumbarton, 1/3 quay Street).
