Family life isn’t always easy, and it’s not uncommon to feel angry, depressed , stressed or alone when things go wrong.

Coping with and coming to terms with loved ones who are chemically dependent or having family members who don’t understand how you are feeling are all examples of difficult family issues that put a lot of strain on relationships.

Family problems can often be very sensitive and emotional, and it can be difficult to know what to do for the best. It’s important to remember that you are not alone, and that by talking to someone whom you can trust, remembering they will be impartial, non judgmental, and who will uphold your confidentiality.

Talking to other people with similar experiences can also help , this is a support group that amongst other things can give people the opportunity to tell their own stories and give support and strength to each other.

Family support meet every Monday night in the Dumbarton office between 18.00- 20.00hrs offering group and one to one support and all family members are welcome.
